Basic Life Support (BLS Provider) CPR AED
with Adult, Child, Infant Skills
Our American Heart Association (AHA) certification cards are accepted throughout the United States by colleges, universities, hospitals, and workplaces. The AHA’s BLS Provider course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Who should take this course?
The AHA’s BLS Provider course is designed for healthcare providers/professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.

This course may be used for initial or renewal BLS course completion. It is recommended that first time students take a classroom based class for their first time.
Part 1 is completed online PRIOR to Part 2 and 3 (skills evaluation and testing). Part 2 and 3 consists of completing a practice hands on evaluation with our AHA authorized BLS Instructor.
Please print the Certificate of Completion from Part 1 and bring to Part 2 and 3 skill session.
Upon successful completion of Part 1 (online) and Part 2 and Part 3 with our authorized AHA Instructor, student will receive an AHA BLS Course Completion Card valid for two years.
Course Content
- Key changes in basic life support, reflecting new science from the most up to date American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
- Critical concepts in high-quality CPR
- The American Heart Association Chain of Survival
- 1-rescuer CPR and AED for adults, children and infants
- 2-rescuer CPR and AED for adults, children and infants
- Differences among adult, child and infant rescue techniques
- Bag-mask techniques for adults, children and infants
- Rescue breathing for adults, children and infants
- Relief of choking for adults, children and infants
- CPR with an advanced airway
Successful completion of this course includes three (3) parts:
• Part 1, online portion (purchased from the AHA website)
• Part 2*, a hands-on skills session with us at Go Life Savers, LLC (purchased here in addition to the online componet)
• Part 3*, a skills test with us at Go Life Savers, LLC
*Parts 2 and 3 are completed in one “skills practice and testing” session and is included in the Skills Session fee (online portion is an additional fee).
Textbook(s): It is highly recommended you have access to the most up-to-date AHA BLS provider manual for the class you are taking that is the newest version with the current AHA guidelines being taught. You are encouraged to purchase the eBook from us now when completing your registration.

Reschedule and Cancellation Policy
Scheduling: If a scheduling conflict should occur, participant(s) will be given a credit (no refund(s) will be given) that is valid for 30 days this includes all Certification Classes scheduled through Go Life Savers, LLC and applies to all courses that we teach. In other words, all courses and sessions are included. Should the participant(s) reschedule two times and not show up for the 3rd scheduled course, the participant will forfeit the payment for the course at that time. At which time, the registrant would simply need to repay to participate in another class.
*Please note that a registrant will only be able to reschedule two times.

In order to do the BLS Skills Session, you must first take the AHA HeartCode® BLS Online Portion. If you have already done this, simply bring your completion certificate with you to the hand-on skills session.
If you wish to do part of your training online at your convenience, click on the American Heart Association (AHA) website below and enroll in your desired AHA CPR class, complete the course, print or email your course completion certificate to us, and then request an appointment with us to do your required hands-on training to receive your appropriate official AHA CPR certification card (eCard).
