Textbook: You must have an AHA student manual for the class you are taking that is up-to-date with the current AHA guidelines being taught. You may purchase this book from us, another source, or utilize a book that you have used for a previous certification, as long as it is within the current guidelines being taught. If you do not have a book on the day of the class, you may purchase one from us at that time or simply use one of our loaner manuals.

Cancel Policy: If a class registrant makes a class cancellation more than two (2) business days prior to the scheduled class date, while a refund cannot be offered, the registrant will be able to re-schedule* the class for another date at no additional charge. However, please note that if the class cancellation occurs less than two (2) business days prior to the scheduled class date, we would not have the time needed to fill that seat, so no refund or rescheduling of the class would be offered -- and that registrant would simply need to re-pay to participate in another class.
*Students seeking to utilize a credit from a cancelled class can do so one (1) time. A second cancellation will result in forfeit of the credit.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.
